At Amber’s Dachshund Care, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers. This Refunds Policy outlines our guidelines regarding payments, refunds, and cancellations. By reserving a puppy or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Reservation Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. This deposit secures your place on our waiting list and is applied toward the total cost of the puppy.

• Deposits are non-refundable except in the rare event that we are unable to provide a puppy that meets your agreed-upon criteria (e.g., gender, color, or size).

2. Puppy Payments

• The remaining balance for your puppy is due 7 days before the pick-up or delivery date.

• Payments can be made via secure methods such as credit card, bank transfer, or other approved payment platforms.

• Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in the forfeiture of your deposit and the release of the puppy to another family.

3. Cancellations

• If you cancel your reservation after paying the deposit but before the remaining balance is due, your deposit will not be refunded.

• If you cancel after paying the full amount but before the pick-up or delivery date, we will refund the remaining balance (minus the non-refundable deposit) only if we are able to rehome the puppy to another family.

4. Delivery Cancellations or Changes

• If you need to reschedule a delivery, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but additional fees may apply.

• If you cancel a delivery after it has been arranged, any delivery fees paid will not be refunded.

5. Health Guarantee and Refunds

• All our puppies come with a health guarantee that covers genetic conditions for a specified period. If your puppy is found to have a covered condition, we will work with you to provide a replacement puppy or refund (subject to the terms of the health guarantee).

• Refunds under the health guarantee do not include shipping or delivery costs.

6. Exceptions to Refunds

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

• If you change your mind about adopting a puppy after the pick-up or delivery date.

• For issues arising after the puppy leaves our care, including but not limited to:

  • Behavioral issues or training challenges.

  • Health issues caused by improper care, accidents, or neglect.

  • Failure to follow recommended vaccination or deworming schedules.
